The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo recently launched the T3x 5G in India, a mid-range smartphone that competes with the Moto G64 5G and the Redmi Note 13 5G. Given that prospective customers could be confused between these three models, especially since this is a hot segment, here’s a detailed comparison between the Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G.

Spoiler alert: all of them provide 5G cellular connectivity and are available for around Rs. 15,000 in India. You can also go through a detailed side-by-side comparison on Smartprix’s comparison page, where you can select up to four smartphones at once and check which one suits your needs better.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Design And Colors

In terms of design, all the handsets have a punch-hole display at the front, with symmetrical bezels on three sides and a relatively broader chin. The Redmi Note 13 5G, however, has the thinnest chin, giving it a more contemporary look.

While the Moto G64 5G is the thickest of all (8.9mm), the Vivo T3x 5G lies in the middle (8mm), while the Redmi Note 13 5G is the thinnest (7.6mm). All phones have plastic bodies, with Moto and Redmi featuring Corning Gorilla Glass.

In terms of weight, the Redmi Note 13 is the lightest (174.5 grams). The G64 5G and Vivo T3x 5G weigh 192 grams and 199 grams, respectively.

Regarding IP ratings, the Vivo T3x 5G has an IP64 rating, the Note 13 5G has an IP54 rating, and the Moto G64 5G has an IP52 rating.

  • Vivo T3x 5G colors: Crimson Bliss, Celestial Green
  • Moto G64 5G colors: Ice Lilac, Mint Green, Pearl Blue
  • Redmi Note 13 5G colors: Arctic White, Prism Gold, Stealth Black

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Display

The Vivo T3x features a 6.72-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 396 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The Moto G64 has a 6.5-inch IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Its pixel density is 405 ppi, making it the sharpest screen of all three phones. The display can achieve a peak brightness of 950 nits.

The Redmi Note 13 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 395 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

If you’re looking for a relatively compact smartphone that’s easy to carry, the Moto G64 5G should be your pick. However, if you want the best viewing experience, the AMOLED screen on the Note 13 5G should offer that.

Other than the Redmi Note 13 5G, both smartphones have a stereo speaker setup.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Processor

The Vivo mid-ranger features the octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC (4nm) with an Adreno GPU. This chipset scores around 559K points in Antutu 10 and 943/2748 points in Geekbench’s single/multi-core tests.

Moto G64 5G, on the other hand, runs on the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC (6nm). This chipset scores around 884/2291 points in Geekbench’s single/multi-core tests.

Redmi’s Note 13 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 (6nm) with a Mali GPU. It scores around 429K points in Antutu 10 and around 767/2057 points in Geekbench’s single/multi-core tests.

Hence, in terms of raw performance and efficiency, the Vivo T3x seems to have the upper hand on the other two smartphones. The higher benchmark scores should indicate better day-to-day performance, while the 4nm fabrication technology implies that the chipset draws less power.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Software

While all the smartphones are based on Google’s Android 14 operating system, they feature custom user interfaces. For instance, the T3x 5G comes with OriginOS 4, while the G64 5G runs on My UX. Redmi’s Note 13 5G runs on MIUI 14.

In terms of software updates, T3x will get two major Android updates and three years of security updates. The Moto G64 5G falls short of the former, as the company only offers one major operating system upgrade to Android 15 and three years of security upgrades.

The Note 13 beats them all with three years of Android updates and four years of security updates. Given that the base variant of Note 13 with 128GB of storage costs similar to the top variants of the other two handsets, a compromise on available storage can get users more years of Android updates.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Camera

The T3x 5G has a 50MP (f/1.8) primary camera and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Users can record 4K videos with the primary sensor at 30 frames per second. On the front, the smartphone ships with an 8MP (f/2.1) selfie shooter.

The Moto G64 5G features a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide sensor with a 118-degree field of view. However, the handset can only record videos in 1080p. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 13 5G comes with a triple camera setup. The primary sensor is a 108MP (f/1.7) shooter. Then there’s an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. However, the phone can’t shoot 4K videos. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie shooter.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Battery

  • In terms of battery, the Vivo phone has a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
  • The G64 5G also features a 6,000 mAh battery, but it only supports 33W fast charging.
  • Last but not least, the Redmi Note 13 5G ships with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

With a more efficient processor and a 6,000 mAh battery, the Vivo T3x should last longer than the other two phones.

Vivo T3x 5G Vs. Moto G64 5G Vs. Redmi Note 13 5G: Verdict

Out of three models, the Moto G64 5G seems to offer the best value, especially the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The variant costs Rs. 16,999, but should be available at a lower price as part of the introductory offer.

Those who want the model with the best performance in the segment can go with the Vivo T3x 5G. It also features 44W fast charging and a 120Hz display.

The Redmi Note 13 5G has a slightly better design than the other models. It also flaunts an AMOLED display for a better viewing experience but lacks a stereo speaker setup. Further, the 256GB variant of the model might be a bit too overpriced for some people.
