TL; DR
  • Vivo T5 Pro has received its biggest price hike yet, up to ₹7,000.
  • 8GB + 128GB is now ₹41,999; 8GB + 256GB is now ₹46,999.
  • This is the third hike since the phone launched in April.

vivo has just handed the T5 Pro its most aggressive price hike yet, and this one is hard to write off as a routine adjustment. While previous revisions on this phone stayed in the ₹3,000 range, this latest round pushes prices up by as much as ₹7,000 in one go.

vivo T5 Pro current prices

  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹41,999 (previously ₹35,999)
  • 8GB + 256GB: ₹46,999 (previously ₹39,999)

vivo T5 Pro price history

The T5 Pro launched in April at ₹29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and ₹33,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. It was first hiked in June by ₹3,000, then again in July by another ₹3,000. With this third revision, the base variant is now ₹12,000 higher than its launch price, and the 256GB model is ₹13,000 costlier.

vivo has not issued an official statement. The increases align with the ongoing rise in DRAM and NAND memory costs driven by demand from AI data centres. Previous hikes on this phone were limited to ₹3,000 each, making the latest jump notably larger.

At the new prices, the T5 Pro sits in a higher segment than the one it launched in, closer to phones such as the iQOO Neo 10 and OnePlus Nord 6, without corresponding hardware upgrades.
