Toyota Innova Hycross breaks cover: Features revealed

After months of speculations and rumors, the Toyota Innova Zenix variant has been revealed in Indonesia. The variant will be called Toyota Innova Hycross in India and has got a major upgrade in terms of the exterior as well as interior look. In India, the Toyota Innova Hycross will launch on November 25 and its official price will be revealed at the Auto Expo in January 2023. Toyota Innova Hycross: Pricing

The Toyota Innova Zenix has arrived in 5 models. The Pure Petrol model comes in G and V variants while the Hybrid is offered in G HEV, H HEV, and QHEV variants. The pricing in India is expected to be between Rs. 22 Lakhs and Rs. 28 lakhs.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Features

The Toyota Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine coupled with 5th gen hybrid tech based on the variant. The engine gives a power of 152hp and a torque of 187Nm. When combined with an electric motor, it gives a combined power of 186hp. There is also expected to be a non-hybrid version that will have a 1987cc engine with 174hp and 197Nm torque. Safety features include Adaptive cruise control, Lane keeping assistant, multiple airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ABS, and EBD among 4-wheel disc brakes for all variants. The SUV has a sunroof as well.

In terms of interior, Toyota has changed its interior design completely. The higher variants get a 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with a dual-tone interior, the lower variants get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 4.2-inch analog instrument cluster. it has a large recess on the passenger side for storage. In terms of seats, it will be available in seven-seat and eight-seat variants.

The new Toyota Innova Hycross measures 4755mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1795mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2850mm which makes it bigger than its predecessor. It has the same ground clearance as Innova Crysta. It has a large grille with a wide front bumper that has a unique cheatline in the center that houses the horizontal LED daytime running lamps on higher variants. The front bumper has faux aluminum pieces on each corner. It has wide headlamps with dual layers housing LED projector units. The Innova Hycross has an alloy wheel design that has a premium appeal.
