On Wednesday, the German audio products manufacturer Sennheiser released the Accentum Plus headphones in India. Earlier this year, the company showcased these headphones at the Consumer Electronics Show, where they revealed some details about the product. The product’s main highlights remain hybrid active noise cancellation and up to 50 hours of battery life.
Sennheiser Accentum Plus Specifications And Features

Firstly, the Accentum Plus wireless headphones feature 37mm dynamic drivers with a speaker sensitivity of 105 dB SPL and a 10 Hz to 22 kHz frequency range. The company has equipped the device with angled transducers that create the impression of a wider soundstage for an immersive experience. Further, users personalize the output with sound modes or the built-in five-band equalizer.
The headphones feature Adaptive Hybrid ANC, which adjusts dynamically to the changing noise levels in users’ surroundings. In addition, the headphones also feature Transparency Mode, which lets in some ambient sounds to help users remain in better sync with their environment. The headphones come with dual beamforming mic that can reduce ambient noise levels for better voice clarity.

Users can switch between the two modes with a touch on the earcups. Speaking of the earcups, they feature an intuitive touch-based interface. Users can tap to play or pause, slide up/down to control volume, and swipe through the earcups to change tracks or answer/end calls.
The Smart Pause feature pauses the playback whenever users take off the headphones. Then, there’s a dedicated button for pairing with other devices. With an 800 mAh battery, the Accentum Plus last up to 50 hours on a single charge with ANC. The headphones also support fast wired charging, wherein plugging them in a USB-C port for 10 minutes can juice in five hours of playtime.

At 227 grams, the headphones are relatively lightweight. Users can fold them flat and carry them in the protective case that comes in the box. Connectivity options on the headphones include Bluetooth v5.2, a USB-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm audio port for those who prefer a wired experience. Users can download the Sennheiser Smart Control app on their Android or iOS device to manage the device.
