TECHNO MobilesTo Expand its Base to 15 More States

TECHNO Mobile, a sub-brand of Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings, announced a plan to widen its geographical base to almost 15 states in India with its range of Made for India i-series smartphone. Earlier, the smartphones were limited to only three states – Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Punjab. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

Around 3 months ago we launched our products in only 3 markets in India and the response we received has been very good. We aim to replicate this success across other markets and our target is to be among the Top 5 smartphone brands in India by the end of next year,” said Mr Anish Kapoor, CEO, Tecno and Infinix India.

The company’s aim is to retail in all major markets in India, by the end of this year. And that is why they are looking to expand its business in states like Delhi NCR, Haryana, Odisha, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Naidu, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, West Bengal, Rest of Bengal, Andaman, and Sikkim.

TECHNO i-Series Smartphone Features and Specification

All variants of the i-Series – i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro and i7, are camera-centric smartphones and the company says that the camera performs according to the photography needs/preferences of the Indian audience. The smartphones aim to redefine the night photography with its PIXELEX image processing engine that enables consumers to capture images truer to Indian skin tones as well as fills light to avoid dark images even in low light condition.

Other than that, all i-Series smartphone comes clad in metal body design, with bright and vibrant display and narrow bezels. The smartphones are also equipped with an anti-oil fingerprint sensor that provides hassle-free access to the phone under all Indian lifestyle and weather conditions.

TECNO smartphones are based on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 along with the highly customizable HiOS for a holistic, enriching and personalized smartphone experience. Users can enjoy easy multitasking powered by 4GB RAM /32 GB ROM in i7.

Other features on the phones include 4G VoLTE and ViLTE support, Video Call Flash, Split Screen, Hi Cloud, 360-degree Flash and a fast charging battery.

TECHNO i-Series Smartphones Price and Availability

TECHNO has launched its i-Series in Champagne Gold, Sky Black and Space Grey colour variants and has been priced between Rs 7,990-Rs 14,990.

To boost the consumer confidence TECNO is selling all its product with a unique promise of ‘151’ which offers 100 days’ replacement warranty, 50% buyback and 1-year one-time screen replacement. To further delight the consumers ‘151’ comes as an initial free offering for a limited period for new markets.
