The company is also expected to launch the most anticipated Nexon EV with significant aesthetic changes with the ICE variant. Amid all the leaks and rumours, a fresh set of spy shots has appeared ahead of the official launch, revealing the design aspects of the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift.

Tata Nexon facelift Spy shots

The newly spotted spy shots of the Nexon Facelift reveal that the car will arrive with noticeable design changes along with a Curvv concept. Furthermore, the leaked renders also reveal that the SUV daytime running horizontal LED lights; these types of DRL lights are also seen on Audi cars. The LED lights are placed closer to the front grills.

The rear section of the Nexon Facelift seems to boast a full-length stripe light joining the tail lamps, and it looks like a single unit, but we believe it will be divided into different sections for obvious reasons. Besides, the spy shots have revealed that the reverse lights are placed on the bumper for better visibility. The renders also suggest that the car will arrive with a new set of alloys and will be available in several colour options.

Interior Spy Shots

Furthermore, the leaked spy images have also disclosed the interior of the forthcoming Tata Nexon Facelift, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the carmaker. First thing first, there is a Curvv-inspired steering wheel, which was not there on the predecessors. The driver console seems to be placed strategically so that the driver doesn’t face any issues while driving the car, and of course, there is a gigantic 10.25-inch infotainment system. The spy shot also shows a Range-Rover-inspired gear selector along with USB Type-C ports and new switches on the console.

Expected Powertrain

The upcoming Nexon facelift is anticipated to receive a new 1.2-liter inline three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This upgraded engine is expected to deliver 125PS of power and 225Nm of torque, representing an improvement over the current petrol unit, which produces 120PS and 170Nm of torque. Notably, Tata is likely to offer this engine with both a new dual-clutch automatic transmission and a manual gearbox.

Additionally, the Nexon facelift will retain its existing 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Customers will have the option to choose between a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission for the diesel-powered version of the updated SUV.

Tata Nexon Facelift Expected India Price

The anticipated price range for the upcoming Nexon facelift suggests a slight increase compared to the current model’s pricing. While the current model is priced between Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom), it is expected that the refreshed Nexon will start at approximately Rs 8-8.50 lakh and go up to around Rs 15-16 lakh. Please note that these price estimates are subject to change based on market conditions and official pricing announcements by Tata Motors.
