Apart from the 30kWh and the 40.5 kWh battery packs, the Tata Nevon EV Long Range is now available with a 45 kWh battery pack. The new battery pack is now available from the Creative trim, which lowers the starting price by Rs. 60,000. More details, such as the new battery pack’s claimed range, real-world range, and variant-wise pricing, are given below.

Tata Nexon EV 45 kWh Range

For those catching up, the 45 kWh battery pack, which is now available in the Nexon EV, is the same kit that powers the newly-launched Tata Curvv. Hence, its claimed range remains the same: 489 km. However, it is important to mention that the C75 claimed range of the battery pack is around 350 to 370 km. This is a significant improvement as the current Nexon EV 40.5 kWh variant lasts around 300 km.

Tata has used the same LFP prismatic cell technology in the new Nexon EV LR (45 kWh) as it did in the Tata Curvv. The technology leads to an 8% increase in energy density and supports a 1.2C charging rate, which can charge up the car from 10 to 80% through a 60 kW fast-charger (DC) in about 40 minutes.
