Spider-Man No Way Home is coming to India next month. Yes, the latest in the superhero franchise from Marvel will officially be streaming on BookMyShow Stream and Apple TV from March 23rd.
The movie will be available on BookMy Show Stream in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in 4K and full-HD. Initially, you can buy it for Rs. 749 but those who want to rent it will have to wait till April 13. Pre-orders are open only for buying options as of now.

In a statement given to leading daily, BookMyShow said, “Spider-Man No Way Home will be available for all fans who’d like to buy and watch the blockbuster on BookMyShow Stream on March 23rd with the title being available to rent from April 13th onwards. The 3rd and final part of the Spider-Man franchise has had a marvelous success at the Indian and Overseas Box Office ever since its release.
BookMyShow has alone sold over 5.5 million tickets for the movie in India. Cinemas and theatres continue to receive a stupendous response for the film as it plays on the big screens here, resulting in the movie’s arrival on the platform in India a tad later than its global counterparts.”
It is interesting how Sony Pictures is giving way to piracy by releasing the movie on 28 Feb or March 1 in the US and bringing it later in India. This is because as soon as the movie becomes available on VOD in the US, the Indian market will be flooded with pirated copies within hours.
By the time the film comes to India on 23 March, many might have watched or downloaded these pirated versions already. The reason behind this could be either Sony Pictures is running piracy risk to profit maximum from ongoing theatrical release or the VOD market in India is negligible.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man No Way Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as Peter’s Girlfriend MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and Jacob Batalon as Parker’s best friend Ned in lead roles. Characters from Earlier Spider-Man movies have made a comeback too, with the biggest surprise being about Spider-Man himself.
