Tech giant Realme has launched the Realme 9 Pro Series in India today. The series consists of 2 smartphones- Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 pro+. Both the smartphones come with a Light Shift design feature that will change the phone’s color under sunlight. Let us have a look at the price, availability, and specs of these devices.

Realme 9 Pro Series Price & Availability

Realme 9 Pro comes in 3 colors- Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue. Realme 9 Pro+ will also be available in these 3 colors.

Realme 9 Pro will come in 2 storage variants-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 17,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 20,999

The first sale will happen on 23rd Feb across realme.com, Flipkart.com, and offline stores.

Realme 9 Pro+ will come in 3 storage variants-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 24,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 26,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 28,999

The first sale will happen on 21st Feb across realme.com, Flipkart.com, and offline stores.

Realme 9 Pro+ Specs

Realme 9 Pro+ is powered with MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It has a Mali-G68 GPU and 5GB extra Virtual RAM.  It sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The under-display sensor will double up as a heart rate sensor. The display will have a 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness.

Realme 9 Pro+ packs a 4500mAh battery with 60W fast charging support that charges 50% in 15 minutes. It runs Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

In the camera department, the device has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor along with 8MP and 2MP sensors. At the front is a 16MP selfie snapper. It comes with ProLight Imaging Technology, Street Photography Mode 2.0, and 90s Pop Filter. It is just 7.99mm thick and it’s Light Shift Design changes the color of the smartphone under sunlight.

The device has dual stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Hi-Res audio. It is 5G ready with 5G support on both SIMs along with being Wi-Fi 6 ready

Realme 9 Pro Specs

The Realme 9 Pro has a 6.59-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage and an extra 5G virtual RAM expansion. It runs Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the Realme 9 Pro has a triple-lens setup on the rear which includes a 64MP main sensor along with 8MP and 2MP lenses. It has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It comes with ProLight Imaging Technology, Street Photography Mode 2.0, and 90s Pop Filter.

The smartphone has the same light shift design and 5G connectivity. The device has dual stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Hi-Res audio.
