WI-1000XM2 is the new pair of Sony earphones to launch in India. It comes on the heels of WH-1000XM3 and WH-XB900N headphones. Similar to them, this one also vaunts noise-cancellation support. But, the clear difference is in the form factor. This one’s a soft neckband.
Sony has launched the earphones at Rs. 21,990. They will be available starting 6th January 2020.

Beginning with the inner specs, the Sony WI-1000XM2 packs the same HD NC QN1 Processor that’s found within its previous few models. Sony claims these are ‘made to fly’, on high altitude, thanks to an Atmospheric Pressure Optimisation.

Further, these offer Adaptive Sound Control, which is said to automatically adjust the surround sound to your activity. And when it comes to hearing, it is capable of ousting Hi-Res Audio.
With the on-device microphone, you can invoke the assistance of Alexa and Google. The wireless connectivity is powered by Bluetooth 5.0.
Sony says the new neckbands can run for up to 10 hours on battery. And after a 10-min quick charge, it will apparently push 80 mins of music playback.
Coming finally to the build, they sport foldable silicon. So, when not in use, you can easily stow them inside the bundled carry case.
