Sony’s PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition gaming consoles have been limited in stock ever since they launched in 2020. Sony has been trying to restock the consoles as and when they can and now the next restock date for the Indian market has been unveiled.

PS5 & PS5 Digital Edition Console Restock Date

Sony has announced that the next restock of PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition gaming consoles will take place at 12 PM on July 23. The last restock took place in June 2022.

It is expected that the consoles will also be up for pre-orders on platforms like Reliance Digital, Amazon India, Croma, Flipkart, and Vijay Sales among others.

PS5 & PS5 Digital Consoles: Price & Offers

The Sony PS5 Digital Edition Gaming Consoles will be available at Sony Centres and at the Games Shop for a price of Rs. 39,990.

The Standard PS5 Gaming console will be available for Rs. 54,490. The package will include Gran Turismo 7 Standard Edition worth Rs. 4999.

Sony has announced that the customers will be able to avail the low-cost EMI on EMI and credit card payments. The pre-booking will begin at 12 PM starting July 23 and deliveries will begin on July 30, 2022.

PS5 Digital Edition Specs

The Digital Edition features an octa-core CPU based on Zen 2 architecture that runs at 10.28 TLOPS alongside AMD RDNA 2 GPU. The console will come with 16GB GDDR6 RAM as well as 825GB of storage. It will support storage expansion using compatible pS5 SSDs. It does not have a Blu-ray disc drive.

Mostly it has been very difficult to book the PS5 console during restocks due to limited availability. Although June restock saw a higher number of units as compared to previous restocks, Sony is trying to boost production to increase the number of units in the further restocks. The company is planning to onboard multiple suppliers to help boost production.
