Sony Launches 4K HDR Bravia TV Lineup In India

Sony, a leading consumer durable brand, has announced its 4K HDR TV Lineup in India that includes – Bravia X9350D(65” and 55”), Bravia X9300D (65” and 55”), and Bravia X8500D (55”) – flaunting the new ‘slice of living’ design and proprietary 4K HDR technology.These Bravia 4K HDR series TV’s are powered by Google’s Andriod TV OS and are recommended by Netflix.

HDR is short for High Dynamic range and is the next big thing in Television technology. Basically, HDR TVs can reproduce a wider range of colors (HDR TVs can process 10-bit colour) with richer tones, without compromising on details. No, the colors don’t necessarily pop as on OLED panels, but are suited for more natural viewing.

Coming back to Sony’s announcement today, the new set of Sony 4K HDR TVs are based on Android TV, i.e. you get to download apps from Playstore and benefit from features like voice search. The Bravia X9350D leads the pack that is powered by Sony’s new technologies like 4K Processor X1, 4K X-Reality PRO, Triluminos Display & X-tended Dynamic Range – all working in tandem to deliver a more vivid image.

For audiophiles, the TV incorporates front facing carbon fiber speakers and its magnetic fluid design with DSEE HX upscales the sound sources to near high-res quality.

Sony X9350D India Launch

The Bravia X9300D offers a super slim design with Slim backlight drive aided by X-tended Dynamic Range PRO for wide brightness range. Based on ‘Slice of living’ design, the Bravia X9300D has clever cable management keeping the wires out of view. The X9300D boasts an elegant, tapered front plate that lifts and angles the TV to create a sense of lightness while also ensuring stability.

Other features include 4K Processor X1, 4K X-Reality PRO, Triluminos Display, ClearAudio+, and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE). This new TV will be available in 65” and 55” display sizes for Rs. 364,900 and Rs. 264,900 respectively.

The Bravia X8500D Sony’s entry level 4K HDR model and is a simple combination of aluminum framed panels and will be selling for 194,900 INR.
