Recently, we witnessed the 2nd generation Moto E 4G launch in India. This smartphone is expected to arrive in the market in the month of May but it is already available to be preordered on Flipkart exclusively just like all the other Motorola smartphones. The smartphone looks more or less the same but there are a few obvious upgrades in the processor and graphics. Moto E 4G features a 64-bit quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 SoC in comparison to Moto E 3G’s 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC. Moreover, Moto E 4G (2nd gen) also supports 64-bit compatible applications unlike Moto E 3G.

 Motorola Moto E 4G specifications

  • 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core QUALCOMM snapdragon 410 soC
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 GB internal storage, expandable to 32 GB
  • 5 MP primary camera
  • 3 MP VGA camera
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • 2390 mAh battery capacity

It was a bold move on Motorola’s part to try and surpass the ever so popular Moto E 3G. Motorola had already unveiled second generation handsels of Moto G and Moto X previous year. I it going to be a mammoth task for Moto E 4G to match and better the expectations of Moto E 3G but form the current pre-ordering patters, it seems to be well on its way for another successful triumph.
