One UI 7 is shaping up to be a significant update with a slew of highly anticipated features. While the rumor mill is churning around Samsung’s One UI 7 beta, a new leak has hinted at a potentially game-changing feature borrowed from Apple.

Leaker Chunnv8888 suggests that Samsung is integrating a feature called “AI notification” into One UI 7. As the name suggests, this feature intelligently summarizes multiple notifications to save users time and highlight key information. This feature seems identical to Apple’s notification summary feature, which has been popular among users for its ability to cut through notification clutter.

Interestingly, the leak indicates that this feature is currently limited to Korean language support and may be exclusive to flagship Galaxy devices, leaving mid-range A series owners out of the chain.

This news comes in the middle of reports of a delayed One UI 7 beta release, now expected in mid-November, as tipped by another popular leaker IceUniverse. The delay is being attributed to Samsung’s efforts to refine features like AI notification summaries and integrate them seamlessly into the revamped One UI 7 interface. IceUniverse further claimed that the current One UI 7 builds look way too different from the ones that leaked out in September.

It is still too early to comment on how and if Samsung will be successful in implementing these AI features in multiple languages or not. That said, One UI 7 is shaping up to be a big upgrade bringing in a slew of features including a split notification/quick settings menu, refreshed icons, a redesigned camera app UI, and even a Dynamic Island-like functionality.
