Confirmed: Samsung S7 and S7 Edge will be resistant to dust and water

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge both will be wearing water and dust resistant jacket, as has been confirmed by Samsung’s official video. In the video, a model can be seen using her phone in the rain which suggest #thenextgalaxy will come with IP67 certified protection. The phone will be officially showcased on February 21 at MWC 2016, in Barcelona.

The phone will have a black chassis made of premium quality material. In response to Apple’s 3D touch, Samsung in all likeliness will introduce Clearforce display with S7 and S7 edge. Clearforce display supports different level of pressure sensitivity integrated with multi-touch glass display.

In terms of Specification, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 combined with 4GB of RAM.  Both these phone with come with 32GB of Internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.it will be running on latest version of TochWiz UI which will be based on Android Marshmallow.

In the optics section, the new galaxy flagship smartphone will sport a 12-megapixel primary snapper with f/1.7 aperture and flash, unlike its predecessor which was launched with 16-megapixel camera module. It will also feature an updated selfie camera at the front.

Media reports also suggest that Samsung is likely to bundle a free VR headset on every pre-order. According to Evan Blass , a reliable source for smartphone leaks, Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available in the United States from 11th march onwards and will arrive in Europe afterwards.

On Februrary 1, Evan Bless also leaked press images of Samsung’s new flagship S7 and S7 Edge on twitter.
