Samsung has rolled out new features for its Health App. The Samsung Health App in India has received a new Medication Tracking feature that will link to the Samsung Health App on its devices. This medication tracking capability will come in handy for those who need reminders to keep track of their prescription medication and over-the-counter medicines easily. It is similar to iOS medication tracking that takes place via a Health Application. Also, the Samsung Galaxy Watch has received Health Tracking capability as well.

Samsung Medication Tracking Feature
The Medication Tracking feature will require users to add their medications for High BP, Diabetes, PCOS, PCOD, and other chronic diseases in the Samsung Health App. This will also include the intervals at which medicines have to be consumed. The Health App will then ping notifications at the prescribed time of the dosage so that the user doesn’t miss his/her medicine. You can also set reminders to get notifications about when to refill your medicines.
Not only notifications and reminders, the Samsung Health App will offer detailed information about the drug as well, which will include general information, its side effects, interactions, and more. The alerts about dosage can be fine-tuned to suit individual needs like medicines which have to be prioritized depending on their importance with reminders ranging from gentle to strong.

Samsung Watches get Medication Tracking Feature

The Medication feature on the app will be synced with not only Samsung phones but also Galaxy Wearables like Watches. The watch users will also get reminders on their wrists so they can take their medicines on time, even when their phone is not near them.

The feature will be available on the Samsung Health Application in India and all you need to do is update the app to get this feature.
