Samsung is all set to launch its next generation of Foldables in Part 2 of the Unpacked Event in July 2023. The brand will showcase Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, both with some major upgrades in terms of specs. However, even before Galaxy Z Fold 5 goes official, the tipsters have started discussing Galaxy Z Fold 6 which will launch in 2024. Various reports have surfaced online that predict how Galaxy Z Fold 6 might look like and what all specs it will have.

Twitter tipster @Tech_Reve claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will bring significant changes as compared to its predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 5. The source claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have the same image sensor as the Z Fold 5 but a 50MP primary camera. However, the design might see a change. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 might take inspiration from Google’s playbook and that will be an interesting development.

The tipster says that the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s major update will include a change in the aspect ratio for the cover screen. Assuming Samsung won’t adopt thick top and bottom bezels for the inner foldable screen, a change in the aspect ratio of one display will lead to a change in the aspect ratio of another.

The Change might be that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a wider cover screen rather than a narrower one. Since Google Pixel Fold has a wider aspect ratio, Samsung might borrow some design ideas from its partner and make the Galaxy Z Fold 6 wider.

Keeping all this in mind, the information shared above should be taken with a grain of salt as right now, even Galaxy Z Fold 5 has not gone official. After Galaxy Z Fold 5 launches, Samsung will start teasing the specs and design of the next generation foldables that will launch next year.
