Samsung is all set to host Part 2 of the Galaxy Unpacked Event in the last week of July wherein the brand will launch the next generation of Foldables- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. Almost a month before the actual launch takes place, the complete spec sheet and renders of Fold 5 and Flip 5 have leaked online, leaving very little to the imagination. The event will be held at the end of July in Seoul, South Korea, and will also see the launch of the Galaxy Watch 6 Series, Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Galaxy Buds 3, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: Renders & Specs

The renders have been shared by Tipster SnoopyTech and in the renders, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 looks very similar to Galaxy Z Fold 4. There is a large vertical triple camera setup at the back with a centrally located punch-hold camera cutout at the front. On the inside, the device seems to sport minimal bezels, while the volume rockers and power buttons are on the right edge.

Talking about the specs, the Galaxy Z fold 5 is speculated to sport a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 2176×1812 pixel resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. There will be an outside 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 2316×904 resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The Fold 5 will come with a 4400mAh battery under the hood and run Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 on top. The foldable will be IPX8 rated for water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5: Renders & Specs

While Galaxy Z Fold 5 is similar to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 seems to be different than Galaxy Z Flip 4. This is due to the large cover screen upfront which looks similar to Moto Razr+. The dual camera module on the front is horizontal now instead of vertical which makes it looks even more like Moto’s foldable. It has flat sides and a central punch hold cutout on the main display.

Let’s talk about the specs now. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main panel with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a 2640×1080 pixel resolution. On the outside is a 3.4-inch 748×720 secondary display that will help check notifications, start and pause music, take selfies with rear cameras, and more. Similar to Galaxy Z Fold 5, this one will also be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but with only 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

In terms of camera specs, Flip 5 is said to have a 12MP main and a 12MP ultrawide shooter on the outside. There will be a 10MP selfie camera on the inside and under the hood will be a 3700mAh battery. It will run Android 13 out of the box and the connectivity options will include USB-C 3.2, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6E, and dual SIM support. Galaxy Z Flip 5 will come in Lavender, Mint, Cream, and Graphite colors. Its dimensions will be 7.19cm long, 8.51cm high, and 1.51cm thick.
