Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series might go official soon

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series has been in the works for a while now and seems like the company is very close to unveiling its flagship tablet series soon now. Several new reports reveal the models that will be a part of the series, their pricing, color variants, and certain specs too along with storage configurations.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series will include Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra models. Read on to know what we know about them.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Pricing & Configuration

The Galaxy Tab S8 Series will reportedly start at 700 euro (Rs. 57,000) and will go all the way up to 1220 euro (Rs. 1,02,000).

The vanilla variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will be the smallest tablet with an 11-inch display. It will come in 2 variants- Wi-Fi and 5G. The Wi-Fi variant itself will have 2 storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- 700 euro (Rs. 57,000)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- 850 euro (Rs. 71,000)

The 5G variant will also have 2 storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- 850 euro (Rs. 71,000)
  • 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage- 900 euro (Rs. 75,000)

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will be available in Pink Gold, Silver, and Grey color options.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ will have a bigger 12-4-inch display and it will also come in WiFi and 5G variants with different storage configurations.

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage (Wi-Fi) – 900 euro (Rs. 75,000)
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage (5G)- 1060 euro (Rs. 89,900)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage (Wi-Fi)- 950 euro (Rs. 79,000)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage (5G)- 1110 euro (Rs. 93,000)

The top-end model in the series will be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra model. It will have a massive 14.6-inch display and have a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. For now, the price details of only lower storage configurations have been out.

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage (WiFi)- 1060 euro (Rs. 89,000)
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage (5G)- 1220 euro (Rs. 1,02,000)

SamMobile has shared some live images of the Galaxy Tab S8 Series models which give an idea about their looks and display size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Specs

The vanilla Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 11-inch LTPS display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and have a dual-camera setup at the back (13MP+5MP). It is said to have an 8000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ will reportedly have a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2800×1752 resolution. It is said to have a 10,900mAh battery and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Geekbench revealed it to have 16GB RAM too, but that is still unconfirmed.

The top-end model in the series, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is rumored to have a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display and have an 11,200mAh battery. Previous reports had claimed that the Tab S8 Ultra notch would contain dual wide ultra-wide-angle lenses capable of 4k video at 60fps.

Samsung is using its new BRS technology for thinner bezels on tablets. The tablets will have 5G and S Pen support on select models.

The tablets are expected to hit the shelves soon.
