However, one brand that has been consistently releasing its tablets in the Galaxy for several years is Samsung. And now the South Korean giant has launched its Galaxy Tab A8 in the Indian market. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 comes with a 10.5-inch FHD+ TFT LCD display. It offers the trending 16:10 aspect ratio for better vertical real estate. The screen is engulfed by noticeable bezels and the thing is part of a metal chassis. It is narrow at 6.9mm.

Inside, you get UniSoC Tiger T618 doing all the grind with help from up to 4GB+128GB memory configuration. There is an option for expandable storage up to 1TB. The software on top is Android 11 with OneUI 3. It sports goodies like Samsung TV Plus for your multimedia fix and Samsung Kids for well…kids entertainment. There are tablet-specific features like Multi-Window, Drag & Split for multi-tasking. You also get a screen recorder facility for saving video calls.

There is a 5MP selfie snapper and an 8MP rear shooter for your camera needs. All of these are kept running on a 7040mAh battery with 15W charging support. The list of other features includes Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, USB-C socket, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Dolby ATMOS-enabled quad stereo speakers, Face Unlock, and Samsung Knox security.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 price and availability

Samsung has priced the Galaxy Tab A8 at ₹17,999 and it will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Samsung India eStore from January 17. Note, you can avail of a cashback of ₹2,000 on select bank cards and a Book-shaped Cover worth ₹999 with this purchase.
