Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM Variant launched in India at Rs. 74,990

South Korean giant has just launched Samsung Galaxy S8+ (plus) 6GB variant in India for Rs. 74,990. It is a rare occurrence that a premium variant of a tier-1 flagship smartphone is introduced in India even before China and the United States. The 6GB RAM variant of Galaxy S8+ (plus) also comes with 128GB internal storage. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

The phone can be pre-booked from Samsung shop and Flipkart starting tomorrow (June 2). It will be made available from June 9 onwards. As an introductory offer, Samsung is offering a wireless charger worth Rs. 4,999 for free on pre-booking.

To recall, Samsung launched its 2017 flagships – the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India this April. Apart from its top-notch innards, the most interesting feature of the phone is its design and display. It comes with edge-to-edge curved displays which company touts as Infinity display.

The Galaxy S8 Infinity display boasts of a 5.8-inch QuadHD+ with 2960×1440 resolution and 570ppi pixel density screen that’s HDR compliant. It is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Galaxy S8+, on the other hand, is equipped with a bigger 6.2-inch QHD+ display with 529ppi pixel density.

Both Galaxy S8 and S8+ employ an octa-core Exynos 8895 chipset which is clocked at 2.35GHz. It features a 12MP dual-pixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and OIS. On the front, there is an 8MP autofocus selfie camera with f/1.7 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 3000mAh battery with fast chagrining support, while the Galaxy S8+ comes with 3500mAh battery.
