Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: Details

A latest report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE might debut with the same Exynos chipset as used on the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will be a toned-down version of the Samsung Galaxy S25.

A report by Android Authority claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has been codenamed R13, which is in line with Galaxy S24 FE being called R12, and Galaxy S23 FE being codenamed R11. The publication claims Galaxy S25 FE will arrive with the same chipset as its predecessor.

The codename- siopr13s_s5e9945, indicates that Galaxy S25 FE will use the S5e9945 chipset, which is the part number of the Samsung Exynos 2400/2400e SoC. If the information is correct, Galaxy S25 FE will have the same Exynos processor as the 2024 model. The brand equipped the Galaxy S24 FE with an Exynos 2400e processor, and it seems Samsung is planning to skip the upgrade by powering the 2025 FE model with the same chipset. Moreover, Samsung is also planning to use the same Exynos 2400e on Galaxy Z Flip FE.

Since the chipset will be less powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Elite & Dimensity 9400, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will be more affordable than the vanilla Galaxy S25 smartphone. It is expected to launch in the second half of 2025.

In a related piece of news, Samsung might also launch Indian version of Galaxy M36 5G with Exynos 1380 chipset.
