Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is Samsung’s anticipated upcoming flagship smartphone which has been delayed far too long. The smartphone was expected to release this year, but chip shortage along with several other factors kept on delaying the launch quite a few times. Now, D-Day is finally expected to arrive in the first week of January and we are here to update you with whatever we have learned about Galaxy S21 FE so far.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Design

The leaked renders of the Galaxy S21 FE revealed the design to be similar to the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S21 that was launched in the first quarter of 2021. It will have a triple camera setup on the rear with camera lenses placed vertically with the LED flash on the right. Centrally placed Infinity O hole punch design is present on the front panel.

The smartphone is expected to come with minimal bezels and retain the IP68 certification like its predecessor, along with wireless charging support. The device is said to have aluminum frames, with volume and power buttons on the right and stereo speakers, USB Type-C port at the bottom.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE First Look (Unboxing Video)

Recently, Galaxy S21 FE has appeared in some unboxing videos, which show the design, in-box contents, and some key specs of the device. An unboxing video has surfaced online which shows a white rectangular retail box with a USB Type-C cable, documentation, a SIM ejector tool, and the device itself.

It shows the smartphone from all angles and reveals that it features a 6.4-inch full HD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chipset, triple rear camera setup, and color variants to be black/graphite.

One more unboxing video has been shared by a Twitter handle who claims that the package doesn’t have a charger. This video shows the device in olive green color and is claimed to run Android 12 based One UI 4.0 and equipped with Exynos 2100 SoC.

A replacement kit for Galaxy S21 FE’s display and the frame has surfaced via Mobistekla where the original screen and glass replacement is listed at EUR 185 (Rs. 15,700) but glass without frame is listed at EUR 119 (Rs. 10,100).

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Storage Options

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to come with at least 6GB RAM and at least 128GB internal memory. As per reports, Galaxy S21 FE will come in two RAM + Storage Variants- 6GB and 8GB RAM, along with 128GB and 256GB internal storage.

The smartphone is said to sport a 6.4-inch “Flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X” Infinity-O-display with a 1080×2340 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate with 401ppi pixel density. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 126GB of internal storage. The smartphone might also be powered by Exynos 2100 chipset based on region.

It is said to come with Android 11 based One UI 3.0 which will be updated to Android 12 later. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection along with 5G connectivity will also be present. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual SIM support, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer needs.

In the camera department, Galaxy S21 FE will have a triple rear camera setup that is rumored to include 12MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide angle lens. It is also expected to have a 32MP selfie camera. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will pack a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

The Global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 4th, 2022 with a global release date, along with news about the India launch date that is said to be soon after.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Expected Price

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be priced under Rs. 60,000 in India. Tipster Ishan Agarwal has claimed that it’s UK Pricing will be as follows-

  • £699 (Rs. 69,900) for 128GB variant
  • £749 (Rs. 74,900) for 256GB variant
