Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G to arrive in India; Sale from March 30

Samsung is all set to bring the 5G version of Galaxy S20 FE to India. The brand is replacing the Exynos 990 SoC used in Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 chipset in the 5G version. Also, the phone will be the most affordable addition to Samsung’s 5G portfolio in the Indian market yet. 

Samsung took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G and later dedicated a live page on its official Indian website. The phone will start to sell on March 30. The 4G version of Galaxy S20 FE (review) has earlier debuted in India back in October 2020. Besides a different processor, Galaxy S20 FE 5G is expected to borrow the exact same specs from its 4G version.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Features

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G sports a 6.5-inch sAMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and is certified to support HDR 10+ resolution. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB internal storage. 

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G gets triple cameras at the back which includes a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The rear camera supports up to 3x optical zoom and up to 30x superzoom. The front camera has a 32MP shooter installed inside a punch-hole display. 

The S20 FE 5G draws power from a 4500mAh supporting 25W fast wired charging, 20W fast wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging as well. The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Price

Samsung is expected to set the price of Galaxy S20 FE 5G under a price bracket of Rs. 50,000 to compete with a similar offering from other brands like the OnePlus 9 series and Vivo X60 series. The Galaxy S20 FE 4G is currently selling at Rs 36,400 via Amazon.
