Samsung has been looking to consolidate its online market share and with that in mind, it has launched the new Galaxy On6 (review) smartphone in India. With features like infinity display and face unlock, Samsung is targeting enthusiastic millennials with this new phone.
Samsung Galaxy On6 Price in India, Availability and launch offers
The Galaxy On6 is an online exclusive phone and it will only be available on Flipkart from July 5 onwards. Samsung has priced the Galaxy On6 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage version at ₹14,490 which will go on sale from July 5.
As a Galaxy On6 launch offer, Flipkart is offering no-cost EMI starting at Rs 1,610 per month for a period of nine months. The phone also can be bought with complete mobile protection plan from Flipkart priced which costs Rs 99 per year.
Samsung Galaxy On6 Features
In the new Galaxy On6, Samsung has introduced a new chat over Video feature that lets you chat while watching videos in stock player or on YouTube. What Samsung’s new Chat over Video feature does is it pops-up a translucent overlay, that lets a user revert back to a message without minimizing the video screen.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 is equipped with a 5.6-inch HD+ super AMOLED screen which has a default aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Like the Galaxy J6, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy On6 with an Exynos 7870 octa-core chipset which is aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card up to 256GB card.

For shutterbugs, the phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera mounted on the rear side and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash on the front. The camera app also comes with support for live stickers, stamps and filters.
The Galaxy On6 packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 based Samsung’s Experience UI. The phone includes dual SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS as connectivity options. Apart from face unlock, Samsung has also added a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
