Samsung is preparing to take the wraps off its much awaited Galaxy Note 8 (timeline) at New York City launch on August 23, however, a crisp image of the phone has already leaked on the internet. The image was first posted by known leakster Even Blass on his twitter handle.

On a first glance, the Note 8 seems to flaunt an edge-to-edge infinity display similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy S8. Traditionally, Note series phones have had bigger displays than S8 series phones, the Note 8 also appears to have a larger display (almost bezel-less).

If reports are true, the Note 8 will be company’s first smartphone to feature dual camera system. Samsung will be extra careful with the Note 8 battery after the last years’ fiasco.

In terms of specification, the high-end smartphone is likely to feature Snapdragon 835 SoC or Exynos flagship chipset (depending on the region). It is likely to come with 6GB RAM and running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Samsung’s Experience UI. The Note 8 too likely to come with wireless charging support and IP 68 certification against water and dust resistant.
