The Galaxy M51 will be the next Samsung phone to go official in India. Sources familiar with the development told Smartprix that the launch is scheduled for the second week of September.
The exact launch date is yet to be finalized. Since these are uncertain times for the industry, it is also possible that the launch gets pushed to the third week.
The upcoming M-series phone has been in the news for some time. Several key details related to Galaxy M51 have already surfaced online and popular twitter handle @the_tech_guy posted some of the key specs of the phone yesterday.
Samsung Galaxy M51 Specs: What to expect?
According to the leak, the Galaxy M51 will house a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. Samsung will be opting for a Snapdragon 730 chipset for performance. The M-series phone is said to include a mind-boggling 7,000mAh battery. If that turns out to be true, this will be the biggest battery ever in a mainstream smartphone. Samsung is to bundle a 25W fast charger in the box.
The Galaxy M51 is said to include a 64MP primary sensor (Sony IMX 682, likely). It will be a quad set up so you can expect a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP depth, and a 5MP macro lens complimenting the main camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 could be priced closer to OnePlus Nord in India.
