Samsung is gearing up for its first mid-range 5G smartphone launch in India with the Galaxy M42. The phone will debut on April 28 at 12 noon and the company has floated a product teaser page on Amazon. Here we have some key details about the device. Also, the latest round of leaks and tips suggests the upcoming device’s price as well.

Thanks to the sources of IANS Live, we believe Samsung could price its Galaxy M42 5G between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000. If so, this will entitle M42 as the most affordable 5G phone in India from the Korean brand.

The Galaxy M42 is tipped to sport a 64MP quad rear camera setup running on Android 11. The phone could pack a massive 6000mAh battery and hopefully, a fast charger as well.

Few rumors also suggest the Galaxy M42 is going to be a re-modeled version of Galaxy A42 5G that was launched earlier in the UK. Since it didn’t find its way to India then, the company may choose to bring it as Samsung Galaxy M42 5G. However, all that said, we still advise you to take the deets with a pinch of salt.
