Close on the heels of the A-series refresh, Samsung has upgraded its mid-range Galaxy M-series. The new Galaxy M30s that went official on September 18 is an affordable phone with a massive 6000mAh battery, a new 48MP sensor-led triple camera system, and upgraded chipset.

Other highlights include a Full HD+ AMOLED display, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, 15W fast charging, and low 0.468 W/Kg SAR Value (head).

Samsung Galaxy M30s Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy M30s will retail on Amazon India starting September 29. The 4GB RAM and 64GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 13,999 and the higher 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost Rs. 16,999. The handset will be available in Opal Black, Pearl White, and Sapphire Blue color options.

Samsung Galaxy M30s vs Galaxy M30: What has changed?

The Samsung Galaxy M30s is a notable upgrade to the Galaxy M30 launched a few months back. Samsung adds a significantly better chipset than Exynos 7904 – Exynos 9611 (the same one that you’d get on the Galaxy A50s) – paired with high-quality RAM and Storage and completely revamps the camera system.

The Full HD+ AMOLED screen can achieve 420 Nits of peak brightness, and you will be able to stream HD content from Netflix and Prime videos on it.

Interestingly, Samsung has managed to cram a massive 6000mAh battery without making proportionately bloating the weight. In fact, at 188 grams, the Galaxy M30s is lighter than most other 4000mAh battery phones that we saw this year.

This light profile comes with a few compromises. The Galaxy M30s has a plastic build and is decidedly less premium looking than its A-series siblings.
