Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy M14 5G (review) in India, a budget smartphone with decent specifications. The phone ships with a 6,000 mAh battery, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and 128GB of storage across all variants. However, on Thursday, March 7, the company revealed the Galaxy M14 4G, with a few differences in features and price.
Samsung Galaxy M14 4G Specifications
The Galaxy M14 5G comes with a 6.7-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. The chipset is combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage on the base variant or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on the top variant. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 13.
Regarding optics, users get the same 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor as the Galaxy M14 5G, coupled with the 2MP (f/2.4) macro and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery that is smaller than the 6,000 mAh cell on the 5G version of the smartphone. However, both support 25W wired charging via a USB-C port. Regarding OS updates, Samsung has promised up to two generations of Android updates and four years of security updates with the handset.
Other features on the smartphone include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, virtual RAM expansion, Samsung’s Quick Share for transferring data with other Android devices, and Find My Mobile for locating lost phones. Moreover, the Galaxy M14 4G and M14 5G have different processors, battery sizes, and, of course, different cellular connectivity options.

As mentioned earlier, the handset comes in two RAM and storage models. The one with a 4/64GB configuration costs Rs. 8,499, while the one with a 6/128GB configuration costs Rs. 11,499. The handset is available in two color options: Arctic Blue and Sapphire Blue on Amazon, where buyers can get a five percent discount on the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card and same-day or one-day delivery based on their pin code (with Prime membership).
