Samsung Galaxy J8 Specifications Spotted on Benchmark Sites, Launch Expected at MWC 2018

Samsung may unveil its mid-range Galaxy J8 on the sidelines of Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch at the MWC 2018 event. But prior to that, the phone popped up on two benchmark sites as SM-J720F, tipping its specifications.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Features (Leaked)

As per the Geekbench and GFX listing, the successor of Samsung Galaxy J7 comes running on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. The device flaunts a 5.5-inch display with a 1280×720 resolution and has at least 5 finger gesture support.

The Galaxy J8 rocks Samsung’s 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 chipset integrated with Mali G-71 GPU. The processor is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can further be expanded via microSD card.

For shutterbugs, the phone boasts of a 12-megapixel sensor on the rear with flash and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies. The leaked specs claim that the Galaxy J8 can shoot images at Full HD resolution.

In terms of connectivity options, the Galaxy J8 will rely on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. We can’t confirm NFC support on the phone as of now. Meanwhile, other sensors included on the handset are accelerometer, GPS, proximity, and compass.
