Samsung has been teasing Galaxy F-Series smartphones in India for the past few days and now finally the brand has confirmed the first F-Series device coming to the country in 2025. Samsung Galaxy F06 5G is arriving in India soon and it will retail via Flipkart. Ahead of the launch, design, specs, and pricing details have been unveiled by Samsung via a dedicated Flipkart microsite that has gone live for Galaxy F06 5G. Samsung has even roped in Bollywood A-lister Ayushman Khurana as the face of the Galaxy F06 5G smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G: India launch & Pricing

Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy F06 5G is arriving in India soon as a budget device. The exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet but Flipkart shows the teaser for the device with a price of Rs. 9xxx for the base model. It means Galaxy F06 will cost under Rs. 10,000. Like earlier models in F-Series, it will be a Flipkart exclusive smartphone and a successor to Galaxy F05 which was launched in September 2024 for Rs. 7999. The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G will come with 5G support which wasn’t there in Galaxy F05.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G: Design

The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G will look slightly different from the Galaxy F05 as it will come with a flat design compared to the rounded edges of its predecessor. It has a light blue color back panel with a pill-shaped rear camera module and a notch display at the front. Galaxy F05 had a leather finish at the back, but we aren’t sure if Galaxy F06 will get it too, or not. The upcoming Galaxy F06 looks more like Galaxy A-Series and Galaxy S-Series phones as it has a flat frame design.

The Flipkart microsite that has gone live confirms that Galaxy F06 will support twelve 5G bands and be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. The device will come with four years of promised OS and 4 security updates. At the front will be a 6.74-inch HD+ display with 800 nits brightness the side-mounted fingerprint sensor will offer top-notch security. In terms of the camera, there will be a 50MP main and 2MP depth sensor at the back and an 8MP sensor at the front.
