Samsung is refreshing its Galaxy A series with updated specs and the latest phone to arrive from this lot is Galaxy A10s. You may recall its global debut earlier this month. It is an improvement upon the predecessor in terms of camera, an overclocked CPU, and a larger battery. It also includes some quintessential components of a smartphone experience, which for some unbeknownst reason was missing from the former.

Simply put, here is what’s new in the Galaxy A10s –
Samsung Galaxy A10s: What’s new?
Display-wise there’s no change except for this one, you get a TFT panel instead of LCD. Flip to the back, you get a capacitive fingerprint scanner. If you’re wondering, there’s facial scanning too.

The interiors get a refurnishing as the CPU cores are divided in 4 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and then 4 cores running at 1.5GHz. On top of this, Android Pie-based One UI is the software, which is better than the previous iterations. This one gives you expandable storage option upto 512GB only and is fairly sufficient. The 1TB micro-SD support on Galaxy A10 was an overkill!
That said a 4000mAh battery on the A10s is most welcome as in case of battery life – more is definitely merrier.
Another area which gets an upgrade is the cameras. The 13MP primary sensor is now accompanied by a 2MP sensor. The selfie snapper is also a bigger 8MP sensor.
