Ever since Diwali has gone by, pollution levels have been reaching an alarming stage in North India, especially Delhi NCR. The pollution has increased so much in some parts of the country, that schools and colleges are being closed so that the students are not exposed to this hazardous environment. In such a situation, technology comes into use in the form of Air Purifiers. Samsung has launched a new range of IoT-enabled Air Purifiers in India to provide clear and breathable air regardless of the environment or room air conditions.

The range includes 2 air purifiers- AX46 and AX32. The AX46 air purifier can deliver clean air in an area of up to 645 square feet.

AX46 & AX32 Air Purifiers: Price & Availability

The Samsung AX32 Air Purifier is priced at Rs. 12,990 whereas the AX46 is priced at Rs. 32,990. They come in Beige and Gray colors and can be bought via Samsung.com, leading electronic stores, and Samsung-exclusive stores.

Both air purifiers have a one-year warranty.

AX46 & AX32: Features

Both these air purifiers come with a ‘one button’ control that can remove 99.97% ultrafine dust, allergens, and nano-sized particles. The company claims that the new air purifiers are effective against dangerous volatile organic compounds including formaldehyde.

The air purifiers come with support for the Samsung Smart Things App. The app will allow you to check the air quality and control the air purifier. There are sleep and auto modes that optimize air quality and reduce overall energy usage, whereas the sleep mode offers a quieter airflow and reduces the display brightness.

The air purifiers have a front air intake which draws air in. When the air undergoes purification, the included fan distributes the clean air in different directions using the 3-way airflow. The purifiers have washable pre-filters and an activated carbon deodorization filter that removes harmful gases. There is a dust collection filter as well.

The AX32 air purifier has a clean delivery rate of 320 cubic meters, and covers an area of up to 256 square feet, weighing 6.9 kg. The AX46 has a clean air delivery rate of 467 cubic meters per hour, a 4-color level indicator, and PM 10 dust and gas sensors.

“Our latest range of air purifiers is designed to remove even the most ultrafine dust particles effectively allowing consumers to breathe pure air. We are optimistic that our new range of air purifiers will help improve the lifestyle of consumers,” Mohandeep Singh, Senior VP of Consumer Electronics Business at Samsung India, said in a statement.
