Reliance Jio has announced that it will provide 12 months of complimentary Jio Prime benefits to existing Prime members. New users can get Jio Prime membership for the nominal fee of Rs. 99 (same as last year).
The revolutionary Reliance Jio services have transformed the nation for the better. The services started off as entirely free and later with the shift to a paid subscription model, the company continued offering early adopters lucrative offers under its Prime membership program. The membership was later made available to new joiners for Rs. 99. As far as we know, all current Jio Prepaid uses are Prime members as it was sort of mandatory to take the Prime subscription with new Jio SIM.

Jio Prime membership entitles subscribers to benefits like discounted tariff plans, access to spectacular Jio apps, and numerous other exclusive deals and offers.
Note: If you are a Jio Prime subscription won’t extend on its own.
How to renew Jio Prime Membership for Free
The prime membership, however, expires on March 31, 2018. You can check for the expiry date in My Jio App under ‘My Plans’. After your plan expires, Here is how you can extend Jio Prim membership:
Step 1: Download My Jio Prime App and log in
Step 2: You will find a banner at the top that says “Congratulations! extend JioPrime for a year, Free”
Step 3: hit ‘Get now’ and then tap on ‘Proceed’ option on the following screen. Your Prime membership will be extended by another year.
You can also simply ask “Hello Jio” voice assistant to “Renew Jio Prime Membership” and it will take you to the relevant renewal page.
Kindly note that the opportunity to extend prime membership is a limited period offer. So, you need to hurry and subscribe to extend your membership. New Jio users will have to pay Rs. 99 for the membership. Same should be true for those who fail to extend the membership within the limited offer period.
