Redmi Note 10 Pro

Redmi has officially announced the launch of its first gaming smartphone later this month. The phone will first debut in China. So although the phone is set to come out of the sub-brand, this also makes Xiaomi’s crack at the gaming arena, that is if you look past its investment in Black Shark.

The announcement comes directly from Xiaomi and later from Lu Weibing, Redmi General Manager, on the microblogging site Weibo. The chief also explains the reason for their entry into the gaming phone market. He cites besides bringing affordability factor into the equation, the company considers the raging craze for mobile gaming among young Redmi users, the popularity of the e-sports community, as well as to address the expensive and bulky weight of the contemporary gaming devices to be the reasons that compel the brand for their own gaming smartphone.
