Record of Ragnarok anime Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger which left the fans excited for the second season. Now, the latest trailer of the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 has been dropped on YouTube. Not only this, but the official website and Twitter handle of the anime have revealed the launch date of Season 2, which is January 26, 2023. The latest installment of the anime will be divided into two parts. The first part will consist of 10 episodes, and the second will have five.

Until now, there has been no word regarding the release of the second part of the anime. Wild speculations are that it will see the light in the first half of 2023. The Record of Ragnarok Season 2 will be available for streaming on Netflix. However, if you are from India, then the anime will not be available on Netflix, and you will have to rely on a VPN to access sites that will allow you to stream the anime in India. The main reason behind the same is the depiction of Shiva as a fun-loving demigod in the anime.

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 details

The Record of Ragnarok is a Japanese Manga created by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui. It grabbed a lot of eyeballs in the very beginning with some of the best character designs and concepts. As for the latest trailer, we can see some of the best battles, like Shiva against Raiden Tameemon. Other important characters also made their appearance in the trailer, including Buddha, Hercules, Goll, Odin, Zeus, Jack the Ripper, etc.

The story of the anime revolves around the battle between Gods and humans in which the group of almighty wants to free the earth from humanity. To stop this massacre, the greatest warriors of humanity challenge the Gods to have a one-on-one battle, to which the gods agree. The USP of the anime is that it shows all the gods in entirely different ways as compared to their mythological getup.

For example, we saw Thor with a chiseled body, long hair, and a divine hammer (yes, I am talking about Mjolnir) bigger than him in size. Expectations are already high from the second season, especially after watching the trailer. We, as an audience, only want to see a crisp story, which was missing in season 1, with breathtaking animations.
