Realme India continues the tradition of unfurling a flock of products in a go. At today’s online event, the company unveiled the hotly-anticipated GT series of smartphones and a new Realme Book Slim laptop. Both phones are 5G-ready and boast top-of-the-line specs for their respective prices. For instance, the regular Realme GT 5G sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip inside. The Master Edition, contrary to what its name alludes to, carries a lower binned but still powerful Snapdragon 778G SoC. Meanwhile, the Book Slim is a thin and lightweight notebook with a 2K 3:2 screen.

Realme Book Slim laptop
Realme Book Slim comes in a thin (14.9mm thickness) and lightweight (at a mere 1.38 kg) design. The body is metal-clad. Inside, there is a 14-inch IPS panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 2k resolution, 100% sRGB color gamut, and 400 nits of peak brightness.
At the core, the Book Slim holds an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor coupled with Intel iRIS graphics up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage. Connectivity solutions include a Thunderbolt 4 socket, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop is equipped with DTS Dual Speakers tuned by Harmon/Kardon.

Under the hood, there is a 54W battery also which is said to run for up to 8.5 hours on a single charge. And when required, the supplied 65W adapter can refill half the tank in just 30 minutes.
On the software side, there is Windows 10 (with Windows 11 upgrade when Microsoft rolls it out). Like many other brands, Realme has also introduced its wireless PC to Phone tether and control solution. Simply put, this lets you access your phone screen and apps on the PC. You can remotely transfer files between the two devices using PC Connect.
Other things in the mix include WiFi 6, an embedded fingerprint reader within the power key, and a backlit keyboard.
You can purchase the i3 8GB+256GB variant of Realme Book Slim at ₹46,999, i5 8GB+512GB model at ₹59,999. As part of launch offers, you can grab them at ₹44,999 and ₹56,999 respectively. The first sale begins on August 30th at 12 PM via Flipkart, Realme.com, and retail shops.
