Realme is planning to release the Realme GT Neo 5 pretty soon in the Chinese market. The smartphone will debut in the market with the latest 240W fast charging tech of Realme. In the past, the device visited multiple certification websites revealing what we can get to see in the successor of the Realme GT Neo 3. Now, the device has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark database carrying the model number RMX3708.

The Geekbench listing of the Realme GT Neo 5 has also revealed some of the key specifications of the device. First things first, the smartphone scored 1279 in the single-core tests and 3902 in the multi-core core tests of Geekbench. Apart from that, the smartphone will run on an octa-core processor 1+3+4 configuration and carry codename Taro. The peak frequency of the chipset will be 3.0GHz, which means it will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The chipset will be based on Samsung’s 4nm process paired with Adreno 730 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

Realme GT Neo 5 expected specifications

The Realme GT Neo 5 could ship with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2772×1240 pixel resolution and a high refresh rate. The high-end variant of the device will get 16GB RAM, and the regular ones will get 8GB and 12GB RAM. On top of that, the smartphone will operate on the Android 12 operating system with the Realme UI 4.0 skin on top. It is also said that the handset will weigh around 199 grams with dimensions 163.85 x 75.5 x 8.9mm.

When it comes to the camera, we can get to see a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary snapper, 8MP ultra wide-angle snapper, and a 2MP snapper. Furthermore, we will get to see the 240W charging tech in the smartphone, which is going to be the USP of the device. Speculations are that the device will get completely charged in less than 10 minutes. Now we’ll not say that it was necessary; however, no one on this earth has a problem with fast-charging phones. We will look out for whether the handset will have any heating issues when absorbing power from a high-capacity charger.
