The realme GT 8 Pro is set to launch in China in October 2025, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It’s shaping up to be a pretty massive upgrade over its predecessor. This is a full roundup of the realme GT 8 Pro, where we’ll be going through its launch timeline, key specifications, pricing expectations, and design details. Let’s dive in.

realme GT 8 Pro Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing

The GT 8 Pro will make its debut in China this October, aligning with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit. India is expected to receive the device between October and November, followed by Europe and Southeast Asia. Pricing is expected to stay aggressive, likely under ₹60,000, which is going to be insane given the upgrades.

Camera System

The GT 8 Pro’s biggest leap will be its 200 MP HP5 periscope telephoto camera, with 3X optical zoom, 10X hybrid zoom, and 10cm macro. It will also pack a 50 MP LYT700 primary sensor, a 50 MP JN5 ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP front camera.

What to Expect Next

realme has already registered certifications for the GT 8 Pro, with teasers expected soon. The October launch will place it head-to-head with upcoming flagships like the iQOO 15. India should receive the device shortly after the China event, while Europe and Southeast Asia are expected later in the year.

There is also the possibility of a higher-end GT 8 Ultra (or Pro Max) model later, with leaks hinting at additional hardware and camera upgrades. If realme moves forward with this, it could mark the brand’s first true entry into the super-premium flagship tier.
