Realme, in a strategic tease, has been gradually unveiling key specifications of this powerhouse, promising the impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a capacious 1TB onboard storage. The latest revelation from the brand now includes the eagerly anticipated launch date for the Realme GT 5 Pro, adding to the anticipation surrounding its upcoming flagship.

Realme GT 5 Pro Launch Details

Realme is set to launch the Realme GT 5 Pro at an event on December 7, in Shenzen, China. The event, commencing at 14:00 China time (11:30 am for Indian viewers), is expected to broadcast via livestream, ensuring a global audience can witness the unveiling.

In a bold proclamation, Realme dubs its forthcoming phone as the “New King of Telephoto Imaging.” At the heart of this claim lies the Sony IMX890 telephoto lens, touted as the largest and most light-sensitive in the industry. Nestled within the device is a robust 50MP 1/1.56-inch large sensor, boasting an f/2.6 aperture, 3x optical zoom, OIS+EIS, and an all-pixel omni-directional focus.

The Realme GT 5 Pro doesn’t just stop at imaging excellence; it is also set to showcase the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. As anticipation builds, the stage is set for the Realme GT 5 Pro to reveal the full spectrum of its specifications and redefine the standards of flagship smartphones.

Realme GT 5 Pro Specifications

The Realme GT 5 Pro is said to feature a substantial 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The flagship model is rumored to offer a choice of either 16GB or 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, paired with an expansive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, promising a potent performance.

The handset will arrive with a triple rear camera module alongside the noteworthy 50MP telephoto lens, expectations include a 50MP Sony LYT-T808 sensor with OIS, coupled with an 8MP OmniVision OV0810 ultra-wide-angle lens. For impressive selfies, the smartphone is said to feature a 32MP front camera.

Endurance won’t be an issue with the Realme GT 5 Pro, housing a robust 5,400mAh battery. Charging convenience is ensured with support for rapid 100W wired charging and a practical 50W wireless charging option. On the software side, the smartphone is expected to run on Realme UI 5 based on Android 14, promising a contemporary and feature-rich user interface.
