Realme GT 5 is generating significant online buzz as anticipation builds for its upcoming global launch. While the company remains tight-lipped about the phone’s official release date, intriguing hints from Realme China President Xu Qi Chase and renowned tipster Digital Chat Station are fueling excitement.
Realme GT 5 Official Teaser
In a Weibo post, Chase posed the question, “Despite the introduction of over 30 second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship models from different brands, why haven’t any of them truly reached the pinnacle of performance?” This enigmatic message strongly suggests that the upcoming GT 5 will be powered by the highly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
This Qualcomm’s flagship chipset also sits in the heart of devices like the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, reinforcing the anticipation surrounding the Realme GT 5’s performance prowess. Additionally, an independent Weibo post by the Digital Chat Station alludes to the potential inclusion of a remarkable 24GB RAM capacity within the Realme GT 5.
This smartphone is poised to showcase cutting-edge LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technology, elevating its performance and storage capabilities. Should this information prove accurate, the Realme GT 5 will ascend to join the ranks of the Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro+ and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro as devices boasting 24GB RAM, a development in harmony with earlier speculations that Realme was actively developing a 24GB RAM phone, potentially manifesting as the GT 5.
