Realme C55 arrives in India with Helio G88 SoC

Finally, after a long wait, Realme C55 made its entry into the Indian market. The device has flat edges, which provides it with a premium look. The two circular camera bumps of the device are available at the top left corner of the device, and the flash is placed next to them. Apart from that, the power button and the volume rockers of the smartphone are situated on the right spine. The handset comes with a punch-hole cutout at the top middle and thin bezels along with a thick chin. The main highlight of the device is the Mini Capsule that is a feature inspired by Dynamic Island of the iPhone.

As for the pricing, the Realme C55 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal storage is available at a price of Rs 10,999. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM variant of the device with 64GB internal storage can be purchased for Rs 11,999. The high ned variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be available for Rs 13,999. The first sale of the device is scheduled to be held on March 28th starting at 12 noon. It will be shipped in three different color variants – Rainy Night and Sun Shower.

Realme C55 specifications and features

The Realme C55 comes with a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate and 680 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in the regular variant. To support gaming purposes, it has a Mali G52 MC2 graphics processing unit (GPU). The handset operates on the Realme UI 4.0 based on the Android 13 operating system.

In terms of optics, the Realme C55 gets a dual rear camera system, including a 64MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth shooter. It can be said that the device delivers above-average photographs according to its price. For the sake of selfies and video calls, it flaunts an 8MP front snapper. The handset draws power from a 5000mAh battery along with 33W wired charging support. As claimed by the company, the device will get charged up to 50% in just 29 minutes.
