Realme C25Y with 50MP camera unveiled in India: Read on to know about its specs and price

Closely on the heels of Realme 8S 5G and Realme 8i, Realme has now expanded its C-series lineup of smartphones in India. Following the legacy of C20, C21, and C25, Realme C25Y has been launched by the company today which is deemed to be one of the most affordable phones with a 50MP camera.

Realme C25Y Price & Availability

Realme C25Y will be available in India starting at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and Rs. 11,999 for 4GB+128GB model. Pre-orders for the device will start from September 20 at noon and the first sale will be held on September 27, 12 pm onwards. It will exclusively be available on Flipkart, realme.com, and other mainline channels.

Realme C25Y Specs

C25Y looks pretty similar in design to C25 but it comes with a textured back panel for improved grip. Realme C25Y comes with a large branding logo at the back along with a 6.5-inch HD+LCD display and a teardrop notch for 8MP selfie snapper. This panel sports a resolution of 1600 x 720p, a 60HZ refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

C25Y has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 420 nits. The device comes with a triple camera setup which includes a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP monochrome (B&W) lens and a 2MP macro sensor. It lets you shoot 8160 x 6144p resolution pictures from the camera app. It also has a fingerprint sensor and back panel for biometric authentication. C25Y also supports AI beauty function, HDR mode, Panoramic mode, Portrait mode, Timelapse function, Expert mode, and other filters. Realme C25Y also features an 8MP selfie camera with an AI beauty function.

Realme C25Y is powered by Unisoc T610 SoC, which is a 12nm octa-core processor clocking up to 1.8Ghz. Chipset is integrated with ARM Mali-G52 GPU and has a pair of 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Internal storage is expandable up to 256GB with the help of a microSD slot.

The device features a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 18W fast charging support and screen battery optimization. As for the software, it runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. It comes in two color options-Metal Grey and Glacier Blue.
