Realme Band 2 introduced with a bigger display, SpO2 sensor, and heart-rate monitoring

Realme has made a new addition to its IoT portfolio by launching Realme Band 2. The new fitness band has been first introduced in Malaysia. It arrives with a few upgrades over the original first-gen Realme band that basically includes a big display and SpO2 monitoring. 

Realme Band 2 Features

Realme Band 2 sports a 1.4-inch colour touch rectangular display which is larger compared to the 0.96-inch Realme Band (review). The successor has a resolution of 167×320 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Realme offers 18mm interchangeable and stylish wrist straps for a more personalized look. 

For smart health examining, Band 2 is powered by a GH3011 sensor to support heart rate monitoring. It also tracks the blood oxygen level with the built-in SpO2 sensor and assesses sleep quality. The band allows up to 90 sports modes including various indoor and outdoor activities. It is water-resistant up to 50 metres.

The Realme Band 2 is equipped with a 204mAh battery and is said to last for up to 12 days on a full charge. The band offers more than 50 watch faces. The fitness band offers smart AIoT control for Realme Watch 2 Pro (review), Realme Buds Q2 (review), Realme Buds Air 2 (review), and other smart gadgets.

For connectivity, Realme Band 2 supports Bluetooth 5.1 to connect with smartphones running on Android 5.1 or iOS 11 and above. It ships with a magnetic charger to juice up the device.

Realme Band 2 Price and Availability

Realme Band 2 is priced at MYR 139 (around Rs. 2,450) in the Malaysian market. Since the company has introduced its major devices to India, so the band is expected to make its way later in October. However, there is no official confirmation and we expect it anytime soon.
