Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680 will be launching in India on January 18

Realme is bound to bring the Realme 9 series rather soon in India. Just the other day, we shared an exclusive piece on the Realme 9 Pro design, and today, we have got confirmation from Realme that its Realme 9i model is set to arrive in India on January 18 at 12:30 PM. This is teased to be the first phone to bear a 6nm Snapdragon 680 processor in the segment.

Now, as you may know, it is sailing to the Indian shores only after debuting in some other South Asian markets earlier this week. So, as it nears its launch event, here’s everything you need to know about the Realme 9i.

Realme 9i specs (Vietnam variant)

Realme 9i sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display with a left-cornered punch hole. This cutout houses the phone’s 16MP selfie snapper. Flip to the back and there you have the 50MP+ 2MP+ 2MP setup.

Internally, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC. This processor is complemented by up to 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage. You get to expand the storage further up to 1TB using a dedicated memory card.

The phone is kept ticking by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other specs in the mix are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Android 11 software with RealmeUI skin, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and a USB-C socket.

In other markets, the phone is available in Black and Blue variants. We will know about the Indian variants, price, and other details on January 18.
