Realme keeps launching smartphones at regular intervals, enticing both buyers and media alike. And apparently, the company is getting ready to launch three new phones in the country. There’s the Realme 9, the Realme 8s, and the Realme 8i. Interestingly, this comes a day after the Realme Note 9 and Note 9 Prime monikers were spotted online. It shouldn’t be long before we learn the exact launch details of these phones.

The first bit of scoop comes from Yogesh Brar that Realme 9 will launch in India in October, just before Diwali. The phone will be a successor to the Realme 8 and be available in multiple variants.

Brar also states that Realme will have a launch event in September where the Realme 8i and Realme 8s will be introduced. On Monday, MediaTek teased India’s first phone with the latest Dimensity 810 chip. Last month, we exclusively reported that the Realme 8s would be powered by the Dimensity 810 chip.

Realme 8s Features (expected)

Realme 8s is said to have a 6.5-inch display with 90Hz. According to reports, it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and will have 5G connectivity. The phone is said to have 6GB/ 8GB RAM with 5GB virtual RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB storage. Most likely, the phone will run Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin.

By the back, it will have a triple camera setup, with a 64MP primary sensor, but no information has been revealed about the other sensors. It is said to have a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats, along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart fast-charging support. The Realme 8s is expected to come with a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.
