The Poco X5 Pro will go official in India on February 6, one day before the OnePlus 11 makes its debut worldwide, according to Poco. The Poco X5 Pro‘s design has been unveiled, and a 108-megapixel primary camera on the back of the device has been confirmed. There will be two more camera sensors in addition to the primary rear camera, although their specifics are still unknown. The phone will support 5G as well.

The company’s trademark color, yellow, is depicted on the official poster. Like Poco’s latest M-series smartphone design, the phone appears to feature flat sides.

Days after a Poco X5 Pro was discovered on the Hungarian shopping website Cityel, Poco officially made the launch date announcement. The website also displays a standard Poco X5; however, it appears that Poco is only making the Pro model available nationwide. Regarding the X5 Pro, the smartphone is also mentioned in blue color, which might also be sold in India.
The Poco X5 Pro is believed to have a Snapdragon 778G processor and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution (1080×2400 pixels). Although it’s not very new, this Qualcomm processor can manage daily chores. Additionally, it drives some notable mid-range devices, including the iQOO Z6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M52 5G.

The back may have a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is expected to feature on the front.

Poco frequently brags about how quickly its phone performs, and the Hungarian merchant mentions that the charging speed is 67W. The Poco X5 Pro’s website claims that it has 5,000mAh. Lastly, a transparent silicone case can be included in the box. The Poco X5 Pro may cost less than Rs 25,000 based on the specifications, while the price is still unknown.

Since Poco entered the Indian smartphone market in 2018 with the Poco F1, its strategy has mostly remained the same. The company places a high priority on attractive hardware with competitive pricing. This was the situation with the Snapdragon 870-powered Poco F4 5G last year. The highest 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model of the phone is currently available for Rs 29,999. However, given that the business releases Android updates more slowly than other OEMs, some users may be internally content with the software experience. For instance, last week, the Android 13 upgrade began rolling out to some Poco F4 devices.
