Poco M3 with Snapdragon 662, 6000mAh battery goes official

Poco M3 has been announced. The standout thing about the phone has to be its slick design. The phone arrives in 3 chic colors viz. Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow. By the back, it sports a giant camera module housing its triple cameras. Inside, the phone is running on a Snapdragon 662 and 6000mAh tank of a battery.

Poco M3 Highlights

Let’s kick off with the camera stack itself.

Poco has packed three cameras by the rear. This includes a 48MP primary shooter, accompanied by a 2MP macro (up to 4cm radius) and a 2MP depth unit for portraits. Within the camera island, to the far right end lies the POCO branding.

Flip to the front, and there you’ve got an 8MP selfie snapper within a waterdrop notch. The display is a 6.53″ FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor, in case you’re wondering, is residing on the side-frame.

Unlock and under the hood, the phone is bearing Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage (which is further expandable up to 512GB).

The internals also consists of a 6000mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging. Among other things, the phone also brings Android 11-based MIUI 12, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Poco M3 Price and Availability

Poco has priced the M3‘s 4GB + 64GB base variant at $149 (~₹11,000) and the higher 4GB + 128GB model costs $169 (~₹12,500). The phone is currently out in the European market. International availability including India’s is currently under wraps. But, we expect it to make its way soon.
