Poco F4 spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 870 SoC

Looks like Poco is gearing up for a few launches this month. The Poco X4 Pro 5G arrived globally and on April 10th, it is likely to be announced in India as well. The Poco F4 has been spotted on Geekbench as well, advocating its imminent launch in the global markets. Note that the launch date is still unclear so we will have to wait for more information to arrive.

Poco F4 Spotted on Geekbench

According to the Poco F4 listing on Geekbench under model number 22021211RG, the device sports an 8GB of RAM and has an Android 12 out-of-the-box likely with an MIUI 13 on top of it. The motherboard section on the listing says “munch” which is speculated to be associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with a max frequency clocked at 3.19GHz and a tri-cluster arrangement. The scores hit by Poco F4 are 1028 points on single-core and 3391 points on multi-core tests.

Poco F4 Expected Specifications

Talking about the specs, Poco F4 is likely a rebranded Redmi K40S Global. Although Poco is yet to confirm any specs, we have a specs sheet for the Redmi K40S for reference.

The phone is likely to pick up a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and capable of producing up to 1300 nits of peak brightness. Moving on, we could get a triple rear camera assembly powered by a 48MP main cam, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor with a 20MP front-facing camera.

Poco F4 could also get a beefy 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging tech and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for easy access. Other specifications include 5G and 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth among others.
